Finally done...

Does anyone have any idea what I could do with these resin cubes? I made them with leftover resin from rings I made, but I haven't done anything with them. They're just sitting here.
I was thinking of making a whole bunch with similar colors then drilling wholes in them to make a necklace, but I'm still not sure--I'll think of something.
Below are some pictures of the molds I made of the new rings:
(yeah the photos are really ugly, but the rings will come out pretty! Well I hope so...)

So that's the Annika ring. It's named after my cousin, I love her so much! But she'll only wear rings on one finger, so I made this so it will fit her. Anyways, I hope she likes the design! I might see her later today to go to the beach.

The Box ring.
Okay the photo above looks REALLY ugly, but the shape of the rings will be sanded out so they will be better looking. When I made this the clay wouldn't shape right, so I did the best I could and decided to leave it to the sanding. The ring is just a flat cutout of that shape, it's kind of hard to explain so when it's cast in resin i'll show you more.

The final photo: MY personal favorite, the Saturday ring. Yeah, so what, it's a weird name. But it's cool.
It's kinda chunky, but I still love it! It's squarish shaped, so it will be SO much easier to sand and smooth out. These rings will be quickies. I have a lot of ideas for this ring--not only dying the resin so it's a solid color, but also maybe putting things inside clear resin so the ring will have a cool effect. I don't know. I'll experiment some more later.
I love Saturdays.

I hope you guys liked the rings! I went to a japanese garden today downtown, and got some really pretty pictures--of the garden and my rings! The plants went nicely with the colors and shapes. I'll post them up later today, so you can see them.

I made a new bubble ring today: the Lime Bubble ring. It's pretty cool, it just needs some sanding and ta-DA it's done. Another really cool thing: I think I just might know how to make yellow resin! It might not be transparent though, only solid. But I promise someday I'll figure it out. I promise you.

Well I'm running late for a class I have, so I guess I'll see you guys later! (goodness this is a long post...)
